This post is primarily aimed at the locals of my hometown, and surrounding areas, but that shouldn’t put the rest of you off of reading. Trust me, there are gorgeously delicious photographs contained in this post . . . photos of really, really yummy baked goods.
Everybody loves a cupcake. Actually, apparently there are people who don’t love cupcakes . . . or cakes . . . or doughnuts . . . or chocolate. I know, there’s something fundamentally wrong with that, and they probably won’t enjoy reading this post because it’s all about some of the stuff that they don’t like. So, they should stop reading right about now . . . unless they don’t mind looking at photos of those foodstuffs that they’re not into.
Peaches And Créme Co. is a mother and daughter business with a focus on cupcakes, and event styling, but they also produce cakes and boutique desserts too. I’m a lil bit lucky where Peaches And Créme Co. is concerned because the ladies behind the business, Rachael and Emma, are two of my gorgeous cousins. So, at this point, it’s important that I point out that a) this is not a post that I’m being paid to write, and b) I pay for my cupcakes just like everybody else does. Back on point . . .
In recent years, cupcakes have made a resurgence, and have become really quite popular, gourmet, and chic. Yep, we’ve said goodbye to the basic lil cupcakes that mums and grandmas made for birthday parties, and we’ve said a great big ‘Hello, baby’ to stunning cupcake creations. We’ve also stepped away from making these tasty bundles of cupcakey goodness ourselves because we simply don’t have the time with our hectic lifestyles. Hence we’ve seen the rise of the cupcake bakery business.
I can hear you telling me to shut up, and get to the photos part. Alright, alright, here are a few more photos of the cupcakes available from Peaches And Créme Co. Click on the photograph to see the enlarged version.
Now, if cupcakes aren’t your thing, Peaches And Créme Co. will also create custom designed cakes, and they produce chocolate pyramids in all sorts of colours, truffles, tartlets, and personalised sugar cookies. And if a regular or gourmet cupcake is too much for you to handle, the ladies also create a couple of mini cupcakes, and a range of mini gourmet cupcakes. Y’know, in case you’ve a tendency to feel guilty for eating a whole, delicious, gourmet or regular cupcake . . . you can purchase the mini regular or mini gourmet cupcakes, have that hit of flavour, and not feel guilty for indulging in something so very, very tasty. Oh, and there’s a gluten free cupcake for those who might be gluten intolerant.
So, m’local lovelies, keep an eye out in the local paper to see when the Peaches And Créme Co. stall is next at the Goods’ Shed Markets (with the spring range of cupcake flavours), and get down there early to get your cupcakes. And I really do mean ‘get down there early’ because those cupcakes sell out bloody quickly. And by ‘bloody quickly’, I mean in the space of an hour or two (or less). These are seriously scrumptious cupcakes, and you definitely won’t be sorry that you ate one . . . or two. Believe me, with the range of flavours produced by Peaches And Créme Co. it’s difficult to choose which cupcake you’re going to eat, so you will end up consuming more than one. 😉
If you’ve got a special occasion around the corner, and you need a cake or you’d like a range of cupcakes or personalised cookies, get in touch with Peaches And Créme Co. via their Facebook page, email, or fill out the order form on the Peaches And Créme Co. website. Also, if you’re an Instagram user, follow Peaches And Créme Co. over there, where you can drool over the latest creations to come out of the Peaches And Créme Co. kitchen.
